With the latest update, the Live Translation feature is now more powerful than ever. We've expanded the number of supported languages, adding Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil), Chinese (Mandarin), and Korean to the list. You can manage and download these languages directly from your AirPods Pro settings, ensuring you're ready to communicate wherever you go.

How to use this feature

1. First, ensure you have the necessary languages downloaded. Navigate to Settings > Your AirPods Pro > Translation (Beta) and select Languages to download your desired options.
2. To start a translation session on the fly, press and hold both AirPods stems simultaneously. You will hear a chime indicating that Live Translation is active.
3. Alternatively, you can initiate a session from the built-in Translate app. Open the app, select the Live tab at the bottom right, choose the languages for the conversation, and tap Start Translation.
