Tired of downloading a separate app just to scan your gym barcode? Or maybe you have a local membership card that lacks official digital wallet support. You can now create custom Apple Wallet passes for any ticket, membership, or standard card directly on your device.
By the end of this guide, you'll have all those stray barcodes neatly organized right on your iPhone and Apple Watch. Let's get them set up.
Everything happens right inside your existing wallet. You do not need to download any third-party pass creation tools.

The easiest way to make a pass is to let Apple Intelligence do the heavy lifting.
When prompted, you can take a live photo of a physical card. You can also upload a screenshot from your photo library. For example, grab a screenshot of your gym membership barcode from their official, clunky app.
Select the image, and the system automatically extracts the barcode and text to generate a clean, digital pass for you.

If you do not have a scannable photo, you can easily enter the pass details manually. This method also gives you total control over the design.
You can change the background colors, tweak the displayed text, and adjust exactly what information shows up on the front of the pass.

Once you save your custom pass, it sits securely alongside your credit cards and IDs in Apple Wallet. Better yet, it automatically syncs to your Apple Watch.
Next time you walk into the gym or a local event, you can just double-click the side button on your watch and scan your custom pass. No extra apps required.
