We all know we should update weak or compromised passwords, but doing it manually is a huge pain. You have to log into each site, navigate to the account settings, generate a new password, and save it. It takes forever. iOS 27 fixes this with a massive update to the Passwords app that automates the entire process. Here is how to let your iPhone do the heavy lifting for you.
Your iPhone keeps track of passwords that are easily guessed or caught in data leaks. You can now fix these in bulk.

After tapping get started, you will see a quick explanation of how the feature works. The app signs into eligible accounts behind the scenes, generates strong new passwords, and saves them automatically.

Once you are happy with the list of accounts, it is time to let the automation run.
You do not even need to keep the app open. A Live Activity pops up at the top of your screen showing the progress as it churns through your accounts. You will also receive a handy notification every time a password gets successfully updated.

Updating dozens of compromised passwords used to take an entire afternoon. Now it takes about three taps. Check your Passwords app after the Live Activity finishes, and you will have a clean, highly secure list of logins ready to go.
