This transforms static dashboards into interactive, queryable resources, saving you the time and effort of manual data analysis.

What it does

The AI assistant is capable of interpreting complex data visualizations and tables found on analytics platforms. When you are viewing a dashboard, such as your podcast host's analytics page or the Advanced mode in YouTube Studio, you can ask questions in natural language. The assistant will analyze the on-screen information, interact with UI elements like date-range filters, and even download necessary files like a CSV to provide you with a direct answer.

How to use this feature

1. Navigate to a web page containing the analytics or data you want to query.
2. Open the Assistant panel on the right side of the browser window.
3. In the chat input, ask a specific question about the data displayed on the page. For example, ask "what's our second highest downloaded episode of this podcast?"
4. The assistant will process the information, perform necessary actions like changing filters, and deliver the answer directly in the panel.

Key capabilities

• Natural Language Queries: Ask questions about your data just as you would ask a person, such as "Which month had the highest watch time?"
• Automated UI Interaction: The assistant can automatically adjust filters, like date ranges on a dashboard, to gather the specific data needed to answer your question.
• Data Formatting: Request that the AI organize on-screen data into a different format, such as creating a clean markdown table from a complex analytics view.
• Spreadsheet Assistance: Copy data into a spreadsheet and ask the assistant to provide the correct formulas for calculations like sums or averages.

Tips for getting the most out of this feature

For the most accurate results, make sure the data you're asking about is visible on the current page. If you're working with spreadsheets, you can paste a table in and then ask for formulas to perform calculations. This is a powerful way to quickly build out your sheets without needing to remember complex formula syntax.
