How to Create Multi-Stop Routes and Convert Between Apple Maps, Waze, and Google Maps

This guide walks you through setting up Apple Shortcuts to handle complex trips and seamlessly pass locations between Apple Maps, Waze, and Google Maps.

What you'll need

• The Apple Shortcuts app installed on your iPhone.
• Your preferred map apps installed, like Waze or Google Maps.
• Calendar events with properly formatted addresses.

Step 1: Map your calendar events automatically

If you have a busy day of meetings, your calendar already knows where you need to be. The Multi-Stop Directions shortcut grabs all your calendar events for today. It finds the location for each one and creates a single turn-by-turn driving route.

Just make sure your calendar events actually have an address or location listed.

1. Run the shortcut from your device.
2. The shortcut pulls the addresses from today's events.
3. Apple Maps opens with every stop already loaded into your route.

Step 2: Plan an on-the-fly multi-stop route
